House in Les Masies de Roda

The house design comes from the effort to combine modern architecture with traditional aesthetics, following the concerns and requirements of our client. The concept was based on the formal simplification and decomposition of the traditional Mediterranean architecture, while minimizing its impact with local building techniques.
The central entrance establishes a clear hierarchy of uses and the remaining constant and continuous slope of its deck provides unity to the whole volume, which one appreciates in a clear and single shape. The project is a co-authory of David Sánchez Parramón together with Xavier Martínez Marcos.
