Dedicated to congresses and collective cultural acts, the building is characterized by the contrast between the tectonic concrete modules and the lightness of its roof, which is made by Naturvex panels, based on cement reinforced with cellulose fibers. In 2005, this work was given the architectural prize of Canarias and also, in 2007, was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe architectural European prize.
The project is collaboration between Ruben de Castro and the office Menis Arquitectos, in technical office and during the production of a monography about architecture.
