Urban Valuations

Knowing the soil worth is more than knowing the most probable sale price. The soil worth can be used in cadaster applications, tax issues, reparcellings, investments, expropriations, etc. Depending on the objective the soil worth is looking for, different laws, as the Soil, Urban or Sectorial laws, must be used, so Urban Assessments are always referred to a specific assessment date and situation.

EXPROPRIATIONS

An expropriation usually begins in a valuation made by the government in order to obtain public soil with a very low price. The worth calculation according to the appropriate laws can give a very different result. The Urban Valuation can also be used by the government in a negotiation or directly to reclaim by judicial way the fair price of the expropriated good.
